Welcome to Troop 265's Website!

Troop 265 was established in 1972 and is chartered by Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas. The troop averages 50-70 registered scouts and has produced over 120 Eagle scouts.

We meet every Monday (except for LISD holidays) at the Scout Hut at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1401 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028. For more information, or to schedule a visit, please use the Contact Us link on the left.

Camp Alexander (Camp A): Sign-up Open!

Cost: $530/scout $430/adult leader

Camp Alexander is located in the beautiful Eleven Mile Canyon in the Pike National Forest approximately 45 miles west of Colorado Springs, and two miles south of Lake George, in Park County, Colorado.

Personal Management Announcement

Mr. Dennis regrets that he will not be able to continue instructing Personal Management merit badge after Saturday, January 24th.

For that last meeting we'll meet at the Scout Hut from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. Please bring written copies of any work completed for Mr. Dennis to examine. He will return your blue cards with any approvals and signatures required.

Service Hour Opportunity: Service of Honor and Remembrance

Our Chartering Organization needs our help for their Service of Honor and Remembrance over the Memorial Day Weekend!

We need as many Scouts as possible (in full Class A/Field Uniform) to help with a flag ceremony on Sunday, May 25th. Please meet in the main building no later than 9:00am. The service requirement should take about 30-40 minutes.

Swim Testing for Summer 2025 - FINAL CALL

The Troop is offering one more date on the evening of Sunday, May 18th for Scouts and Adults in Troop 265 to complete the swim test locally. Due to demand at the LISD and Flower Mound Aquatic Centers, we are choosing to use a private pool this year. Scouts and Adults who are attending Bartle Scout Camp this summer need not test ahead of time as Bartle conducts their own tests. All other Scouts and Adults camping this summer are encouraged to complete the test.
